Aquatic Therapy
Performing traditional physical therapy in water can improve mobility and decrease pain. Each pool is easily accessible for handicapped patients, and is kept at a comfortable temperature.

Home-Based Outpatient Rehabilitation
Home-Based Outpatient Rehabilitation consists of the same services that patients would typically receive at an outpatient facility/clinic but delivered to the patient in their own home or residence. This program is currently available for patients living in Manchester, Vernon, Tolland and South Windsor. Patients cannot be in a current home-health level of service or considered homebound per Medicare guidelines. For more information, please call 860.871.1092.
LSVT BIG™ and LSVT LOUD™
LSVT, short for Lee Silverman Voice Treatment, is a unique program that helps patients with neurological disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease. LSVT BIG™ is the physical therapy component that works to improve a patient’s quality and speed of movement, strength and balance through repetitive and exaggerated movements. LSVT LOUD™ is a speech therapy component that works to increase the loudness of a patient’s voice to improve voice, speech and communication. All treatment is provided by LSVT® trained clinicians, including physical and occupational therapists, physical and occupational therapy assistants and speech-language pathologists.

Lymphedema Management
Lymphedema management helps relieve pain and swelling caused by lymphatic fluid buildup. Our certified lymphedema therapists conduct a comprehensive evaluation and develop an individualized treatment plan that includes exercises and therapeutic intervention to reduce swelling and inflammation, improve skin texture to promote wound healing and enhance flexibility and strength.

Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation
Pelvic floor physical therapy involves the pelvic floor muscle group, which is responsible for a variety of functions. These muscles support pelvic organs, assist in bowel and bladder control, and contribute to sexual health. A person may be referred to pelvic floor physical therapy to treat incontinence, difficulty with urination or bowel movements, constipation, chronic pelvic pain, and painful intercourse. Both men and women can benefit from pelvic floor therapy.

Vestibular Rehabilitation
Vestibular rehabilitation is a specialized exercise-based program used to alleviate problems caused by vestibular disorders such as vertigo, dizziness, visual disturbance and imbalance. Although most symptoms are permanent, teaching the brain to use other senses to compensate for deficiencies can help improve function.

Oncology and Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
Breast cancer rehabilitation can help restore physical functionality and energy caused by a decrease in bone density and estrogen levels. Our program includes patient and family education, pain management, exercise programs and improving independence with daily activities such as eating, drinking, dressing, bathing and household chores.Our certified cancer exercise trainer works with each patient to develop an individualized exercise plan that not only promotes bone density, but helps decrease the risk of future recurrence.
