EASTERN CONNECTICUT HEALTH NETWORK HONORS 35 WITH PEOPLE OF PURPOSE AWARD

Manchester and Rockville hospital nurses and caregivers among the honorees.

Manchester, CT, June 3, 2025 — Eastern Connecticut Health Network honored 35 employees, including nurses and caregivers at Manchester and Rockville hospitals and outpatient facilities with the People of Purpose Award. This award recognizes the Top 1% of employees who uphold our mission and service values in providing exceptional care delivery to patients throughout the network.

People of Purpose was created in 2021, following the COVID-19 pandemic and honoring employees who have made a sustained and significant contribution to ECHN beyond the scope of their required duties.

The following were honored with the People or Purpose Award at a ceremony in May that brought together family members of the honorees and ECHN employees and affiliates:
